blaine daniel (Schatze Laverne) is ecstatic to be on the stage again. After working with the Hunger Artist Ensemble on their production of The Kentucky Cycle, he took a long hiatus from his relationship with performance and Denver theater.ÊIn turn, he feels very privileged and proud to be working with Theatre Group and Chris Willard on such a great show. Many thoughts to the future. Many thanks to my wonderful magician.
teresa harris (Pearl Wilbur) is very happy to perform again at Theatre On Broadway. She loved playing “Frenchie” in Theatre Group’s production of Cabaret earlier this season. Other credits include Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Diana in Lend Me a Tenor, and Val in A Chorus Line. Teresa will next appear at Boulder’s Dinner Theatre as Jenifer in Paint Your Wagon in August.
gary dean hathaway is honored to have the chance to work at Theatre On Broadway. He has worked at many theatres around town including Country Dinner Playhouse, Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, the Arvada Center, Town Hall Arts Center, and the Aurora Fox.ÊHis acting, directing and choreography credits include such shows as Into the Woods, The Fantasticks, Closer than Ever, The Mikado, 1776, Damn Yankees, and Sweeney Todd.ÊLove and thanks to his amazing wife Kristin, and his wonderful daughter Cassie. And special thanks to Chris for the opportunity.
steven miles (Stella Crumm) is happy to be joining Theatre Group’s production of Cell Block Sirens of 1953. He was last seen on the Theatre On Broadway’s stage as Crowe in Never the Sinner. His favorite roles have been as Tony in West Side Story, C.S. Lewis in Shadowlands, and Erni in Rumors. He wishes to send a special thanks to his friends and family for all their love and support.
caleb murray (Guard/Doctor) is sexually aroused by his return to the Theatre On Broadway after playing Herman in Cabaret. With a minor in music theatre, he has been involved in writing and directing for a private musical theatre over the last several years, as well as fronting an alternative band. Additional musical exploits include Godspell, The Secret Garden and The Masquerade.
suzanne connors nepi (Gwendolyn Duke-Hutton/Welch) is so excited to be performing at Theatre On Broadway in Cell Block Sirens of 1953. Regional credits include the musical benefit Magic Moments, as well as the Aurora Fox’s Kindergarten. Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s in theatre from Frostburg State University in Maryland. A recent transplant from Washington D.C., other credits range from Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors to Constanze in Amadeus. This was a “riot!” Muchas gracias, Chris! Lots of love to Mark, Mary and Peter.
kristin teig torres (Queenie Smith) I’m back! After Execution of Justice it took two years for Kristin to return to the Theatre On Broadway stage. This time it only took two months. Playing Fräulein Kost for five months was a blast… Will Cell Block Sirens of 1953 run that long? Other Denver shows include Agnes in Dancing at Lughnasa and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.

He is pleased to bring back Cell Block Sirens of 1953 (DDCC nominee Best New Play, 1999) to Theatre On Broadway audiences. The show will receive its Chicago premiere this spring at the Victory Gardens Theater.
