shelly bordas is thrilled to appear in her eighth production with Theatre Group. Other Theatre Group credits include The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Beautiful Thing, Cell Block Sirens of 1953, Execution of Justice, Tony ’n Tina’s Wedding, subUrbia, and Psycho Beach Party. Other Denver stage appearances include: The Arvada Center, Littleton Town Hall, Denver Civic, Promethean, and Venus Production’s interactive theatre.

jennifer kiatta recently moved to the Denver area from California, and is excited about working with the Theatre Group again. She was last seen as Rabbi Sharon in The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told at Theatre On Broadway. Two years ago she received her BA in theatre from the University of California – Santa Cruz. Other favorite roles include: Tessi Tura in Gypsy, Ztietal in Fiddler on the Roof, and the Greek chorus in Trojan Women.

lamecia landrum has done tons of costumes for about 10 years, primarily for the Theatre Group, but she does occasionally wander off somewhere else. That might be due to age.

george pulver feels privileged to do technical work for Theatre Group in this production, as well as for past productions, including: A Question of Mercy, Execution of Justice and Poor Super Man. Also, he recently appeared onstage in Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly, Party! and Howard Crabtree’s Whoop Dee Doo!

steven tangedal started with Theatre Group in 1979, and has directed a wide variety of shows including the dramas Tracers, Burn This and Six Degrees of Separation; the musicals A ...My Name is Alice, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Closer Than Ever; the comedies Jeffrey, Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr and Tony ’n Tina’s Wedding – and the recent hits Beautiful Thing, Emma’s Child and The Boy’s in the Band. Steve hold a Music Education Degree and serves as the Executive Director for the Theatre Group.

tDA design and production was formed in October of 1999. Since their recent beginning they have provided decor and design support for many auspicious occasions, including corporate events, weddings, galas, trade shows, fund–raisers, permanent installations, theatrical stages and fashion shows. Tina Anderson holds a design degree from Colorado State University. She has been involved in the special events industry for over 12 years. She oversees all technical production, and her favorite events are fashion shows and theatrical production. Wendy Foster holds a design degree from North Dakota State University. Prior to her recent transmutation to the special events industry, Wendy was an interior designer and owned an art gallery. Her favorite events are tent weddings.

david williams has worked for Colorado AIDS Project for five years, and brought his professional experience to the Theatre Group for A Question of Mercy at Theatre On Broadway. He also served as stage manager for Porcelain at Theatre On Broadway, and for Blue Room and Food Chain at the Phoenix Theatre.

cindy connor (Judy Noonan) is proud to be presenting her first performance with the Theatre Group at Theatre On Broadway as a “stupid kid.” She’s been in productions of Gut Girls, Harold and Maude, and Room Service. She hopes to continue making appearances around Denver in several more plays to come.

anna r. kaltenbach has enjoyed working on Stupid Kids. Recent theatre and dance design credits include The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Iph..., The Decency Acts, On the Verge, 2nd Story Landing, Art, Tongue of a Bird, and The Kentucky Cycle, for which she and her co-designer, Steven Deidel, received a Denver Drama Critics Circle Award.

kate lynott (Jane "Kimberly" Willis) made her Denver theatre debut last Spring in Relationships Under the Full Moon and Jungle Book: The Original. This marks Kate’s first Theatre Group production, and she is thrilled for this opportunity. She thanks her friends, family, and the Starfish–lovers of the world for their continuing support and encouragement.

steven neale has served as stage manager for the Theatre On Broadway for over three years for such shows as A Question of Mercy, Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly, Corpus Christi, and Poor Super Man. Steven also is the designer of the Theatre Group’s programs and newsletters, as well as serving as Webmaster for the Theatre Group Web site. Thanks to Steve and Nick for the creative freedom, and all my great friends who have wandered into my life.

matthew schultz (John “Neechee” Crawford) is proud to be making his Theatre Group debut with Stupid Kids. He has been active in the Denver theatre scene in recent years as an actor, director and producer. He was last seen onstage in City Stage Ensemble’s production of Bad Money. Matthew is currently serving as artistic director of Pangaea Theatre Company – a new theatre company devoted to presenting diversity-based plays utilizing the ideas and concepts of Image–Based theatre. This performance is dedicated to Sara, Katie, Laura, and Monique –thanks ladies for always making me smile; I love y’all.

Other directing projects include The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, The Dying Gaul, Party!, Love! Valour! Compassion!, subUrbia, Psycho Beach Party, Howard Crabtree’s Whoop Dee Doo!, and Poor Super Man (Best of Westword, 1998–1999). Nicholas has been seen on stage in the critically acclaimed productions of Corpus Christi, The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, and A Perfect Ganesh. He has worked as a director, choreographer and teacher with numerous theatres and schools. Nicholas serves on the board of directors for The Colorado Theatre Guild.

kevin wenning (Jim Stark) began an experience with acting through his high school drama instruction, and eventually a youth production of Julius Caesar in which he play Brutus. The note on Shakespeare continued with his direction of Much Ado About Nothing in which Kevin was love’s fool as Benedic. His first experience with musical theatre was in a production of Oklahoma at Clearwater University. Now after a year of film training, several local commercials, and a few projects with Denver film schools, he is back to some real acting with the Theatre Group’s Summer production of Stupid Kids.

donna debreceni is an actual Denver native who is overjoyed to be working on her second project with Theatre Group. She has done extensive touring all over the country and Taiwan with West Side Story. She has music directed and performed in theatres in Denver, Aspen, Littleton, Greeley, and Los Angeles – where she also composed for television, film and theatre. Donna has played in bands: country, jazz, rock and R&B, and quite a few piano bars in Denver, Aspen, L.A., Norway, and Denmark. She’d like to thank her mother for making her practice and her husband, Todd, for all his support and patience.

chris whyde has appeared in seven shows for the Theatre Group.
